A few weeks ago as the weather turned colder a friend messaged me asking if it was cold enough for shepherd’s pie? I took the hint and invited her round for dinner.
My shepherd’s pie is so easy to make and is becoming legendary among friends.
- mince (I know it should be lamb but I always use beef)
- veg to taste (this could be carrots, mushrooms, courgettes…)
- salt & pepper to taste
- tin of chopped tomatoes
- encona hot pepper sauce
- mash potatoes
Best served with any booze, veg and of course a huge amount of gravy.
