Book Review: Diana Vreeland: The eye has to travel – Lisa Immordino Vreeland

Diana Vreeland: the eye has to travel

I love ‘coffee table’ books, particularly those featuring the work of renowned photographers. I often select books as a special gift for friends as I find them timeless and a lovely keepsake. I was recently delighted to come across “Diana Vreeland: The eye has to travel”.

Diana Vreeland was fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar before becoming editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine. The book is a real treat for followers of fashion as it includes 350 illustrations and photographs from the likes of, among others, Irving Penn and Richard Avedon.

This book is a must have for anyone who enjoys fashion photography and styling, retailing at £35 you can snap it up from Amazon for just £22.75 – what a bargain!

All photography taken with my iphone5, imagery belongs to Lilo Loves.
